Hi, my name is Julian Bennett, and I’m starting my first year as the Instructional Assistant for the 2nd grade class at Holy Spirit School. I was born and raised in Newark, CA where I have been a lifelong Catholic. I attended Catechism where I received my Sacraments at St. Edwards Church in Newark while choosing Saint Francis of Assisi as my patron saint. I have had previous experience working with students with special needs, and I think I can have a positive impact working with our students to foster academic achievement. As you can probably tell by my Saint, I really do enjoy animals (especially cats) and I am also a big 49er and A’s fan. I hope not only to grow with the staff but the kids as well as I continue my journey in education. I’m very much looking forward to this school year and getting to work with all of you!
