This tutoring program gives children at our school extra opportunities to improve their math and/or reading skills, while building a mentor relationship with one of our older junior high students. Junior high students will work with individual students once a week for 30 minutes.
The student council is an active and enthusiastic component of Holy Spirit School’s service activities. This program is designed to nurture the leadership qualities among our students. Following the lead of Jesus, we strive to be examples of faith while adhering to our Student Learning Expectations The council meets regularly with their faculty moderators. Council members are responsible for the morning assembly preparation, special assemblies, and activities planned to promote spirit and community among the students. Leadership in the council is made up of seventh- and eighth-grade students. Class representatives are elected in grades 4-8. Student council members must maintain a minimum grade average in order to actively participate. For additional information regarding the student council please contact Mrs. Marsh.
